Really?

Yes, really.

Since we have been in Arizona we have been to the Crawdad Festival in Camp Verde:

We DID eat crawdads, they were NOT good and we will be skipping the "festival" next year. The kids had fun though and that's what's important....I guess.

Whitney's dream finally came true on Friday. Her first tooth came out - I actually looped some dental floss around it and gave it a tug. She was ecstatic! And so dang cute.

About a week ago we bought a carrier for Livvy so we could do some hiking as a family...which is kind of funny considering we never went when we lived in Idaho and all of my friends there are very outdoorsy. Anyhoo, we went on a trail near our home on Wednesday and then Saturday morning we drove to Prescott - which is about 10 minutes away and decided to try one of the trails by Willow Lake which is just off a main road in town. We hiked for about 2 hours and had SO much fun. This place is honestly right in Prescott, which is a city of around 30,000 people. We felt like we were hours away from anyone. We loved it and can't wait to go back again this week.

Quick note: Olivia is going to suck the life out of me. I have NEVER been around a child that is SOOOO busy. She is into everything, she goes from taking things out of the cabinets, to pulling all of my clothes out of my drawers, playing in the toilet (ugghh) to eating crayons. We love this girl! She is definitely keeping life interesting.

Oh, how fun! I am jealous. Bella is a busy little bee, too. She will destroy anything in her path. I like the carrier you bought for her-she is so cute! And congrats on the tooth, Whit!

You were in Camp Verde?!?! Jim's family is from Camp Verde. Since we now live in the same state we definitely need to get together. Next time we make a visit up north let's try to get together. If guys ever want to drive a little further south and visit the phoenix area you are more than welcome to stay with us. Also you need to go to Sedona. It is not very far from Flagstaff and it is so beautiful.

The have a crawdad festival? Gross! When we lived in Utah, my girls used to love to go to a little pond in our town and catch crawdads with pieces of hotdogs. Then they would bring them home, and Brian would cook them for them. They LOVED them. I never even tried them. Just the smell of them cooking sicked me out.
