Hair Cuts
Call me a bad mom - but I have reached my limit of both girls complaining, crying, screaming and throwing fits every morning I tell them it's time to get their hair done. My little Gracie is especially "sensitive" when it comes to her hair and the little stinker always looks a little bit disheveled - her head itches, she decided to play under a blanket before we go somewhere, we get to church and she buries her head in the bench and completely undoes all of the hard work and coaxing it took to get her hair done- so I have had enough. They must have also because they agreed to getting their hair cut on Tuesday. Whitney was in heaven for that hour in the salon chair because she had the undivided attention of my friend Kaylie and she got to watch herself in the mirror the entire time. They both look ADORABLE and as a family we are all very thrilled with their new looks.

Puppies & Snow
Last week the twins attended the birthday party of a little girl in our ward - it was a puppy themed party and all the kids got puppy ears and when I picked the girls up that day they also had a ring painted around one eye and both had pink noses. It was SO cute and of course I didn't get a picture - but I didn't really need to worry about that because they wore them all day for the next two days - to the store, out to dinner, to my volleyball games - it was quite adorable...

And while we do still have a TON of snow, it has started warming up - we're into the mid 30's.....jealous - so the girls have decided they would like to venture out and play every day which is great for them and me. The other day Gracie had come in for something so I quickly checked out the back door on Whit and this is where I found her

She is sitting on the top of the snow that had slid off of the garage - well, that bit of snow is still on the roof of the garage and I just about had a heart attack. She was quite proud of herself and gave me a big wave. When Jer got home from work he said - oh, yeah - I let them play on it while you were gone on Saturday. I have some brave girls, they make me quite proud - and give me ulcers.

Strawberry Shortcake
Well, I finally pulled the camera out after a couple of weeks and got some pics of the twins helping me make dessert last night. They had strawberries on sale so I thought what the heck, we'll try 'em even though it is kind of early in the season and they were SO good - I'm actually going back to buy more today. It made me feel like spring really might be right around the corner.
I signed the twins up for preschool this fall and they are very excited about it. I have "popped" as you would say and definitely look very pregnant now - it's funny how many of my co-workers and friends have commented on it. We talk about "Livvy" every day and just recently Whitney has started whining a bit about it saying "I really want my baby sister to be here right now!" We are looking VERY forward to our trip down to Utah at the end of the month - we miss you all so much!
