All things Bobo

Here some random pictures of Bobo (aka Olivia).

She fell asleep while I was cleaning the house - Jer had taken the twins hunting so it was actually quiet enough for her to fall asleep - and she just looked SO cute I couldn't help but take a couple of pictures.



She started eating rice cereal about the last week of September and these are some pictures of our first attempt. She did okay, but I got too close with the bowl and she ended up kicking the bowl out of my hand and it went all over the place. Now that she has had quite a bit of practice she shoves the spoon in her mouth and then when the spoon is out of her mouth she shoves her fingers in their and really smears the cereal around - it's almost an art.





She is also loving her exersaucer - she tries her hardest to put all of the toys in her mouth and figured out that if she slams herself back and forth it really makes the saucer rock.

First Day of School

The girls started preschool on October 16th - their teacher had a baby at the end of August so they started a little late- and they were VERY excited to finally go to school.




This is a picture of them with the things they made that day - they learned about boats and made hats and little boats they still play with in the tub - they are giving me their best pirate faces:



They are having so much fun with their classmates and really love their teacher Mrs. Jennie.

A little of this and a little of that

So, the twins became experts on their big girl bikes this summer - I wasn't sure if Whitney would end up riding the bike before next year - she was still riding the little princess bike we bought for her a year or two ago and was not interested at all in riding her new bike - but one day she just decided she was going to ride and she did it - she was SO slow at first but now she goes as fast as Gracie. Neither one of them have had very many spills off the bikes and I'm hoping we'll have as good of luck when we take off the training wheels (maybe??) next year.




At about 2 1/2 or 3 months I started putting Livvy in our portable high chair - it tilts back and she loves being able to see what's going on.




Livvy loves her daddy - it is so fun to watch her face light up when Jer walks into the room or when he talks to her.



Our ward had a carnival in the middle of September and we had so much fun - they had different booths for the kids, hot dogs, cotton candy, scones, a bouncy house and our friends brought their horse for all of the kids to have a ride.

Soccer

Soccer ran from the beginning of July to the middle of August. The twins did pretty good this year - much better ball handling with their feet and actually ran quite fast. Whitney made me laugh because once she decided she was ready to play, really play during the game, she was SO good - if she wasn't in the mood she was over to the bleachers every 5 minutes asking for her water bottle. Gracie of course was our little engine that could and just played her heart out. Jeremy and I only dropped the baby once - off the bottom row of bleachers - her car seat fell right off, luckily she was buckled in - not one of my best parenting moments. These pictures were taken on team picture day - didn't feel like shelling out $20 so I took some of the girls and their good friend Parker. I used to get frustrated with Gracie because in the last 6 or so months she has stopped showing her teeth when she smiles. But looking at her pictures now, it is just pure sweetness and calm. I love my girls!

Lots of Catching Up to Do

We finally bought a new computer and have the internet again - so glad - I was really getting sick of going to the library every time I wanted to check my e-mail or needed to pay a bill. I will spend the next few days catching up on my blog - I just downloaded 102 pictures from my camera last night. Here are a few pictures of the kids. The ones of Livvy are from 2 or 3 months ago - I have more current ones, but will post them with the other blogs.
