Livy (have you noticed that I changed the spelling of her nickname? I just realized that it was a little weird that I was adding an extra v to Livvy and I haven't decided whether I like it spelled Livy or not, so we'll see). Moving on,
Livvy Livy turned 2 on June 2nd and we had such a fun day. My moms side of the family is big on birthday calls, so Livy got to hear the birthday song 4 different times and she LOVED it. Everytime someone would say birthday she would say "pawty".
We met Melinda and her boys at the splash park for lunch and all three girls had a blast. Livy is not a big fan of the water (only when it's in the bathtub or pool) so she hung out on the playground 95% of the time we were there. Her and Zach kept climbing up the slide together - it was so cute.
For her party that night we had Jeff, Melinda, Brady and Zach over for a bbq, presents and cupcakes/ice cream. We had given her the scooter from my parents earlier in the day - she loves the girls Razors so she got one that is pink with streamers on it. We used the birthday money from Grandma Holt to get her a tricycle. Melinda & Jeff gave her a My Little Pony - which Whitney has taken a liking to and wishes was hers. We gave her a doll set that all 5 kids played with - it has a playpen, highchair, changing table, etc. The twins each gave her a car - Lightening McQueen and Mater. Daddy gave her a Bolt stuffy he bought her in Disneyland.
It was such a great day. I can't believe our little puppa is 2 - the twins have said they are ready for a brother. We'll have to see...
