With the twins in school it is just me and the puppy (Olivia). The puppy keeps me busy - playing in toilets, opening closets and emptying their contents, climbing on chairs, couches and beds, taking clean, folded laundry and running around the house with as much as she can hold, leaving a little trail for me to find, also doing this with dirty laundry, and taking things out of the kitchen garbage. She is a handful - she is actually about 3 handfulls, but she is SO much fun. I love this little stinker so much that it makes the times that she does something like taking an empty container of mint chocolate chip ice cream out of the garbage, carrying it into the twins room and eating the melted stuff in the bottom worth it.
Interesting to me and just for the sake of my self-esteem I have been a busy little bee since we moved to good ole Prescott Valley. I'm not sure what happened when we moved, but I have been a diehard gym-goer (about 2 hours a day, 5 days a week), have REALLY cleaned up my eating and just feel a lot better about myself. And I have lost a total of 32 pounds. I still have a lot to lose, won't be posting that number here, but once I hit the 40 or 50 lb mark I'm thinking of starting another blog about my journey......we'll see. It has been A LOT of fun wearing clothes that I haven't fit into for over three years - and, much to the delight of my husband are not my dr. pepper t-shirt or my brown/tan striped shirt. I have also learned how to make my face look extremely thin while taking my own picture:
Last night was our ward campout - I was really not looking forward to it, I don't know very many people in our ward, etc. but Jer talked me into coming with the baby for dinner and coming back up for breakfast this morning. I'm SO glad I went. The girls had a blast, the baby was so happy to be out running and running and Jeremy and I had a nice time getting to know the other members of our ward better. I would be there were at least 20 other families there. Jeremy stayed over with the twins - where COYOTES kept the campers up - Jer said they were SO loud. I took the baby home to actually get some sleep. It was a perfect spot to camp and we will be heading back there whenever we feel like it because the weather here is amazing!
