Painting........

Those of you that have visited our house know that besides the family/dining room the rest of our house is white - it has become quite depressing, especially after all of the white outside for 6 months. With the impending arrival of baby #3 I have started to panic and think that I will never have time to get things done again which is why I thought it would be a great idea to paint the twins room while I was 36 weeks pregnant - thank heavens for Jeremy. I have never painted a room before and didn't realize all of the work that went into it - I would still be painting that room today if I had done it myself. Jer took the day off of work on Friday and then came home from work Saturday and painted most of the room himself. He is such a perfectionist - even when he is tired - and the girls room just looks fabulous. I am going to attempt to paint their bathroom over the next couple of days - to be fair it is only like 3/4's of a wall that needs painted because their is bead-boarding in the rest of the bathroom - but I can't believe what a difference there is going into the girls room now. We weren't sure how many parents would paint their girls room brown and orange but it looks really good and goes really well with their comforters. I will post more pics of their room next week - my parents are coming up on Saturday with all of the baby stuff we left in Utah when we moved and are bringing up the girls new bunk beds we bought at IKEA and we will get those set up and finish deoorating.
