Yesterday was cleaning day so the twins watched a couple of shows and a movie while I cleaned the house. I'm not sure which show Whitney got this from, but all of a sudden she ran into my bedroom while I was folding clothes and said "You don't think I'm beautiful anymore!" And I just kind of sat there trying not to laugh, and said "Of course you are beautiful! Mommy never said you weren't!" So she runs back out of the room and about 10 minutes later she bursts into tears. I went out to see what was wrong and she said, "Look what you did! Now I don't look pretty!" And I, of course, asked her what I had done. This was her reply " You don't think I'm beautiful anymore!" and she ran upstairs and CRIED in her room for about 5 minutes. She came back downstairs and was fine, but continued to have her outbursts for the rest of the day. She actually fell asleep to me singing "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Whitney" over and over because apparently when I told her it was time to settle down and get ready for bed I had really implied that she wasn't beautiful anymore. What am I going to do with my sixteen-year-old daughter that is trapped in a three-year-olds body? Luckily, as of 9:00 a.m. this morning we haven't had any references to being pretty of beautiful. Wish me luck!

That is so funny. Why don't you think Whitney is beautiful anymore? You always did favor Gracie. :) Just kidding. Wow, I am a little let down that you didn't mention the potty, you are right, your public does demand it. We definitely want to come and see you, of course it all just boils down to dumb money. Did I ever tell you I had an interview with Challenger where I had to teach kindergarten? Nerve-wracking, but fun. Anyway, they want to hire me for training for the rest of the year (I think until June 12th), and then from there they will see what they can offer me for the fall. (I think I'll get a part-time kindergarten class at Savannah's school, and she will be on the same schedule as me so I only have to leave Sienna!) ANYWAY, hopefully if it works out I will put aside some money to come and see you in June when school is out. We miss you guys so much, and I would love to get away!
Well Em what can I tell you I have lived with a drama queen for almost 18 years and it has never changed. It's just a good thing you love them with all your heart and most of the time you just laugh with them or at them. It's just a good thing Whitney is really beautiful so just sing that little song to her every night for the rest of her life and things will be fabulous! I miss you and love you! Marianne
Marianne - the funniest thing happened last night. The girls had taken all of my tupperware upstairs to play house and I needed it so I told them to please bring it downstairs. So Whitney comes prancing down the stairs with her ONE piece of tupperware and I said, "Whit, I need the rest of it" and she said "Gracie is bringing it" and down comes Gracie with about 7 pieces of tupperware, totally struggling to bring it all down for me. It reminded me of Amber and Abbie. Cracked me right up! I love you too! Can't wait until the Zion's trip to see you!
